“Hiki is announcing an expansion to build the first-ever social and dating app for all neurodivergent adults that has ever existed.”

That’s what Be able to founder and chief executive officer Jamil Karriem said to me by phone earlier this month about his company’s plans. In a press release issued on Thursday, the New York-based Hiki announced what it describes as a “pivotal” expansion by “(welcoming) all who identify as neurodivergent.”

Hiki, which has apps on iOS and Android, is a relationship app whose name alludes to the Hawaiian word for able.
