BR – The activities relating to green management in the spring season continue in the city, despite the phenomena of intense rains of the past few weeks, which have slowed down the performance of the interventions and significantly increased the rhythm of growth of the vegetation. Reason why, in these days, the companies engaged in the cut are also operating on Saturdays.
Bra is lucky enough to enjoy a surface of green areas of 126,000 square meters, as well as about 14000 square meters of green spaces relating to schools and public buildings. An imposing grassy mantle that with commitment and programming is curated by the municipal staff and by the companies in charge, engaged in these days in the cut six days a week, given the weather conditions of the past few days.
Thanks to the programming of the works, it was already possible to intervene on the green areas protagonists of events during the holidays just passed, such as Piazza Roma, Piazza Giolitti and the Zizzola park, which has been open and accessible since April 25th. From 2 May the accommodation and shredding of road docks will also start, in addition to the cutting operations in the areas scheduled, with particular reference to the area of ​​the urban gardens, Viale Madonna dei Fiori and the hamlets, such as Bandito, San Matteo, Falchetto and following, in rotation, all the others.
