TORINO – «We open 2020 with good news for i Piedmontese municipalities affected by floods: they are in fact well 10 million euros that we can allocate to the works of utmost urgency and to restore public works at risk. To these are added the two million already allocated in the aftermath of the calamitous events and further funds will arrive in the coming months. An important result, achieved with the President of the Region Alberto Ciriowho engaged firsthand to help the affected populations and to make the territory safe. The work done on the budget in these first months of mandate has given us the possibility of carrying out economies which, in the last settlement of the budget, have been intended for the safety interventions of the territory, in relation to both recent and past floods, filling the shortcomings, even twenty years old, so expected by the municipal administrations. Working until the last day of 2019, we managed to assign to the interventions reported by the local authorities further resources compared to those envisaged».
