
The Lattes Grinzane Prize, the international recognition entitled to Mario Lattes organized by the Bottari Lattes Foundation which contributes together Italian and foreign authors and is dedicated to the best narrative books published in the last year, is ready at the start. In recent days, in fact, the Finalist Cinquina of the XV edition have been made official are Mathieu Belezi with attacking the earth and the sun, Jenny Erpenbeck with Kairos, Paul Lynch with the singing of the prophet, at Trabucco Zerán with clean and Sandro Veronesi with black September. Now the 400 students and students who are part of the school juries is the task of reading the works in the final and identifying that winner of this year.
The girls and boys involved come from all over Italy, from the province of Cuneo, passing through Teramo and Campobasso: 25 high schools involved are in total, among these for the first time the Italian college “Antonio Raimondi” in Lima, in Peru. The Autoper Etiope Maaza Mengiste is awarded the Special Lattes Grinzane prize, awarded in each edition to an author or an international author of renowned worldwide and who over time has received a shared appreciation of criticism and public.
