The bonus consists in the provision of an amount one -off of 1,000 euros For each born child, adopted or in foster care from 1 January 2025.
Requirements to access the bonus
The applicant parent must possess the following requirements:
- Italian citizenship;
- residence in Italy at the time of submitting the application;
- ISEE minors not exceeding 40 thousand euros per year, excluding the payments relating to the single and universal allowance from the indicator;
- birth or adoption or custody of the child for which the bonus is requested, from 1 January 2025.
In the case of adoptions, the contribution can only be requested for minor children.
Presentation of applications
From 17 April 2025 it is possible to submit the applications.
The application must be submitted online, through the dedicated service, within 60 days from the date of birth or from the date of entry into the family of the child.
For Events that occurred before activating the new service – i.e. births, adoptions or custody from 1 January to 16 April 2025 – The application can be submitted, under penalty of forfeiture, within 60 days from the date of publication of the INPS message (April 16, 2025).

Necessary documents
Upon application, the applicant must provide:
- ISEE minors in progress or the preliminary presentation of the Single substitute declaration (DSU).
- Payment method indication (IBAN or domiciled bank transfer).
- Identity card of the applicant.
- Tax code of both parents and the new NATO/A.
