Imagine an electric car that you don’t see every day: not because you don’t want it, but because they will be produced less than the bugatti. Cadillac Celestiq is so rare that it is more likely to win the lottery that seeing one on the street. And there is more: for 340 thousand dollars you don’t only buy a car, but a mobile work of art that costs more than your mortgage.
Celeste Cadillac is an attempt to rewrite history, and with electricity. While most of the other electricians turn to the masses, Cadillac Celestiq He’s targeting … well, a very small but incredibly rich club. Each celestiq will be handmade to Warren, Michigan, by more precise hands than those of the surgeons of a private clinic. They hit 81 million dollars in production, which is not exactly a “small project”. The result? Maximum 500 vehicles per year. Or, as Jan Macarol would say: this is not a car, it is a concept boutique with a serious corporate support and the scent of Davos.

The power you don’t need but what you want anyway
Under the length of the sedan, which easily eclipses the escalade, two electric engines are hidden with an impressive power of 655 HP (488 kW) and 875 Nm of torque. From 0 to 96 km/h (from 0 to 60 mph) in 3.8 seconds, which means that you will always be the first to the traffic light, even if your driver will not even notice it because it will be too busy admiring environmental lighting.

Cadillac Celestiq is equipped with the GM Ultium platform and a 111 kWh battery which offers autonomy up to 483 kilometers. It recharges at speed up to 200 kW, which means you can recharge your car faster than you can drink your milk match. I would say: “This is not a recharge, it is a meditation with a touch of high voltage”. But in this class it is appropriate to have an 800 V architecture, especially considering the price.
Cadillac Celestiq: Interior from the future (or from Apple’s erotic dream)
Inside you will find a 55 -inch “cinema” screen that extends over the entire dashboard. And 38 Akg speakers, for a sound experience that would envy even the Berliner Philharmonikers. And the roof? Intelligent glass that is dark by dial. Each traveler can independently decide how much sun he wants – or, to use my style: “an individual climate for your soul”.
Each cadillac celestiq is unique, and it is no coincidence. Customers collaborate with designers in a design study to create Own Celeste. There is no catalog, just a vision. For the interiors you can take the paint from your Ferrari, the skin from an Italian bag and the wood from your grandfather’s boat.

Will Cadillac beat Rolls-Royce? No. But it is not necessary.
Celestiq is a clear answer: Cadillac no longer competes with Mercedes, BMW and not even with Lucid. No, this is a challenge to Rolls-Royce and Bentley. A ticket for a world in which the car is more an exposure object than a means of transport.

Tony Roma, head of Cadillac’s performance division, calmly declared in an episode of Jay Leno’s Garage: “It is ‘Super Bassi Volumes'”. That is to say: a few hundred vehicles per year, not thousands. And with this, Celestiq is becoming more a rarity of a good vintage of Petrus at Lidl.
Conclusion: when the American dream car conquers European trust
Celestiq is the most reliable Cadillac since Elvis Presley’s time. Audace, flashy and indifferent to what you think, because you probably cannot afford it. And that’s fine.
z 340,000 dollars The starting price of about 315,000 € places the celestiq outside the reach of the average driver, but this is not its purpose. It is a signal that America knows how to create a luxury vehicle that does not imitate Europe, but creates its own identity. There is nothing frugal, nothing of “eco-flugal”: it is prestige in full American style. Too big, too expensive and incredibly beautiful.
Will we see it on the Slovenian roads? Probably not. But if this is the case, please let me know. Jan Hungarian. Will know how to record it appropriately.
