ASTITATOR is back, lo Historical National and International Theater Festival, which has reached QuarantasettEsimo edition, organized by the Municipality of Asti, with the collaboration of the Patric Network e Foundation support Compagnia di San Paolo, CRT Foundation, Fondazione Casta, Mic, the sponsorship of Banca di Asti, and the collaboration of the Piedmont Foundation live.
The Patric project received the contribution of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation as part of the projects for projects in the context of contemporary culture that look at the consolidation of the creative identity of the territories through the support for programming in the field of Performing Arts and contemporary creative production, combining research, production, offer and distribution in a logic of ecosystem to strengthen the artistic vocations of the territory.

The Festivalrenowned for its ability to bring together the most diverse and heterogeneous proposals, counts on the artistic direction of Mario Nosengo and Eugenio Feawho explain: “The festival will be held from 18 to 29 June, with a preview on June 15 dedicated to the show result of the Pcto 2025 artistic residence. The program has four sections: theater, music, dance and circus. Asiteatro has had, during its history, an interest in the new dramaturgy, since its dawn, declined in various forms and in different genres, therefore under a role of multidisciplinarity. Festival, as a whole, will host the best of the artistic personalities who in recent years are distinguishing both on the national and international scene. Past/present/future With a stimulating and engaging Fil Rouge: “Life – desire to be alive”. The Festival has always dealt with a scouting action with respect to emerging youth creativity. Support to the new generations of playwrights (many under35) this year concretizes in a greater breath, even European, hosting original projects and never staged. The Astiteatro mission is clear: being able to bring the theater out of the theater through the idea of a city-festival involving all citizens by bringing new life”.
Adds the director of the Alfieri Theater Angelo Demarchis: “Astetatro maintains its characteristics of heterogeneity and opening towards new scenarios, including international scenarios.
