Monforte d’Alba – Coincidences Teatro
He is happy to present the sixth edition of Monforteatrothe theatrical review that since 2014 animates the beautiful municipal theater of Monforte, every 15 days, from January to March. Born thanks to a lucky intuition of the Albese Theater Company which with the Municipality of Langa has a long friendship, for the second year the theatrical review will include the formula affectionately called “The-Atro”, with The and biscuits offered to the spectators at the entrance and in the interval of the shows, which will always take place at 5 pm on Sunday afternoon.
Opening of the exhibition on Sunday 26 January, with the company of our Teatro Di Sinio and their new show Seuti Mat, text and directed by Oscar Barile. On Sunday 2 February, the Compagnia Scampere di Bra will continue, with “The wedding”; Great debut for the organizing company, coincidences, Sunday 16 February, with “The truth of Freud”, written by Stefania De Ruvo and directed by Marco Sunday; Sunday 1 March, “P di Pum” of the Piccolo Teatro di Bra; Sunday 8 March “Happy birthday!” of the “first act” of Saluzzo; Sunday 22 March “Taxi with two squares” of the Teatro del Po, di Bra.
“They are fun shows for a Sunday afternoon in company, and we chose them as always with the aim of presenting a showcase of the excellent amateur companies in the area”, explains Katya Gallesio, of the board of coincidences and creator of the review. He adds the president of the company, Daniela Scavino: “I don’t think there is an amateur theater and a theater made by professionals: on stage there is only the passion of those who bring their character on stage, and the spectators know that it is always a job done with the heart.
