– By decree of President Federico Borgna, the Province approved the technical and economic feasibility project for the arrangement of the landslides and instability along the provincial road 347, which connects the Provincial 9 and the inhabited area of Monforte d’Alba with the hamlet of Perno, with Gallo d’Alba and Alba, caused by a series of weather events in particular in the Pirno locality.

The project, drawn up by the viability sector of the Alba department, provides for an expense of 350,000 euros of 265,947 for tender -based works (including safety charges) and 84,052 for sums available to the administration. The project hypothesis provides five distinct interventions. The first two (at the progressive km 7+400 and at km 7+000) intend to create two reinforced concrete banquets on deep foundations for the support of the road barrier, surface waters regions and the restoration of the bituminous flooring. The third and fourth intervention are at the progressive km 5+800 and km 2+200: they provide for the restoration of the road survey with protection in boulders in the foot, surface regulation and asphalt restoration. The last intervention at the progressive km 2+200 still concerns the creation of banquet on deep foundations for the support of the road barrier. The project works are financed through the Piedmont Region contribution by Economies Alluvione Maggio 2008 and will be the subject of further specifications and insights in the subsequent design levels.
