– Almost two months after the settlement as president of the Garesio Sport Ski Club the time for the first balance was made for Alessandra Garesio, who replaced his father, the late Giovanni Garesio.
President how did the first few weeks go to the ski club?
For the sports group there have been frenetic months because it is the time of the season where much of the activity is built with particular attention to the organization and the promotion of ski courses and trips.
Dry question: positive or negative budget?
I would say absolutely positive, all the activities we proposed have gone sold-out, in December the two trips of Val Thorens and Gressoney recorded immediately sold out, ditto the first of January with two buses that left for Montinevro; Similar speech for skiing and snowboard courses where our inscriptions had to close and leave some people out because we saturated the availability of the teachers.
Are the activity almost concluded?
No, indeed I would say that they have just started because from here until early April we have a very dense calendar of Sunday trips, without forgetting the Monday outings. Only in January we plan a trip to Serre Chevalier on 19 and a Valloire on 26 and so on until April where we will take a break and then leave in June with the summer ski on ice of Les Deux Alpes.
The ski and snowboard courses of Nevoso and Lemon Prato have left but go on shipped for a few more weekends hoping that the weather will be Clemente and allows us to prolong again for at least a couple of lessons.
Are there any opportunities, but always in the name of tradition?
Certainly the canvas that we had set with my dad is always very current and we plan to continue it for several seasons to achieve the long -term goals we had placed years ago.
The only real novelty is the John Garesio Memorial to be held in Limone on March 29, which seemed to us a duty moment to remember my father in what was his natural habitat. We would like to be a day where to gather the many friends and the many people to whom he taught to ski.
Objectives for the near future?
We certainly want to continue to expand the services starting from what are the needs of members such as you have a bus starting service for the most capillary trips and increase the stations for which we make the ticket office at a distance as we already do with the white lemon reserve today.
