Thursday 1 May starting at 3 pm in Piazza Duomo will take place “flags for a friend”. An event, the one scheduled in the historic center of Alba, born to remember one of the most active and well -known members of the Moretta district and vice -president of the flag -wavers, Franco Delpiano, who passed away in 2008. Over time, the event has evolved, has opened the doors to all the Albese villages and, sometimes, also to groups from other cities. It will be a sort of non -competitive performance, which will give fascinating color games, will involve professional flag -wavers, but also the new levers, who will animate medieval re -enactments in the coming years. It will be a way to remember Franco, but also all those people, linked to the carousel of the 100 towers, who over the years have left us. (VN)
