Renault presented the Renault 4 Savane 4×4 concept, an electric vehicle with two engines and four driving wheels that combines retro design and modern technologies.

At the Roland-Garros tournament, Renault presented the Renault 4 Savana 4 × 4 concept, reviving the spirit of a legendary model of the past. Equipped with two electric motors and permanent all -wheel drive, this concept is designed for modern explorers looking for adventures inside and outside the city borders.

The Savane 4 × 4 is based on the AMPR Small platform, the same as the Renault 5 E-Tech and the Nissan Micra EV. An additional electric motor on the rear axle allows permanent all -wheel drive, ensuring better traction on different soils. The increased ground height of 15 mm and the enlarged roadways by 10 mm on each side improve the vehicle off -road capacity.Wikipedia)

The outside of the vehicle is embellished with the new Jade Green color, completed by shiny bumper and shiny fenders. The roof is covered with fabric with a pixelated motif reminiscent of a camouflage design. The interiors are characterized by brown fabric seats with embroidered motif and by the 4savannah logo illuminated on the dashboard.

Although Renault has not revealed the exact technical specifications, the concept is expected to have more power than the Standard Renault 4 E-Tech model, which offers 110 kW (150 HP) and 245 Nm of torque. It is possible that the concept is equipped with a larger battery, with a capacity of 52 kWh, which would allow autonomy up to 400 km according to the WLTP standard.
