
In December, Grindr flew all of its employees out to Los Angeles for a week-long brainstorm, hack-a-thon, and holiday party. Before the party, Ferszt and CEO George Arison told employees their benefit package will be expanded to cover fertility treatments – up to $300,000 per employee every five years. The new offerings rolled out on January 1 through Carrot Fertility.
“We want to be leading the way and pioneering best-in-class benefits,” Ferszt says. “We thought that it’d be a really great opportunity for us to give employees something that I think could be very deep, meaningful, and emotional.”
