
The first session of the Technical table of sharing mountain development policiesa tool strongly desired by the regional councilor for the development and promotion of the mountain, Marco Gallowhich meets the main stakeholders of the upper lands.
The operational and strategic tool aims to create a structured, continuous and transversal comparison between institutions, local authorities, bearers of interest and territorial representatives. The goal is share guidelines, priorities and resources related to regional measures which affect the future of the mountain territories.
The national president of Uncem, Marco Bussone, President Uncem Piedmont, Roberto Colombero, vice -president ANCI Piedmont, Francesca Delmastro, the president of Anpci, Franca Biglio, the president of Assopiemonte leader, Franco Gilardi, the vice -president of Assopiemonte leader, Mario Sacco, the director of the Gal Terre del Sesia, and the deputy mayor of the Metropolitan city were attended Turin, Jacopo Suppo.
«The mountain cannot be only the subject of sectoral or emergency interventions – underlined the regional councilor Marco Gallo – But it must become the protagonist of shared and forward -looking programming. With this technical table we want to build a stable method of comparison with those who live and administer the high lands, to transform difficulties into opportunities, combining forces on common goals. Our task is to listen and concrete answers: sharing means efficiency and strategic vision to bring home useful results for the mountain ».
Several objectives of the table, including the strengthening of the role of the Region as a programmer body, the desire to make a system, the definition of the strategic lines, the improvement of the quality of the interventions, avoid or reduce overlap of design ideas.
A tool, therefore, increasingly necessary and current, which studies and analyzes the mountain areas for concrete observations, aspects of technical and management knowledge, and to implement a true form of resilience.
The participants welcomed the initiative positively, underlining the importance of an interinstitutional coordination that allows to overcome fragmentation and enhance local experiences.
The table will meet periodically, with the aim of monitoring the implementation of policies and proposing updates on the priorities of the mountain territories.
