As part of the Institute services, the Carabinieri Forestry Station of Cortemilia contested, in collaboration with the colleagues of Ceva and with the CC territorial CC station, multiple violations attributable to an artisan company in the Valley.
In particular, the unauthorized storage and the deposit beyond the limits of special non -hazardous waste produced by the company was detected, sometimes also the subject of bangs, the incorrect sealing of the relative loading/unloading registers as well as the abusive construction of a concrete audience, in the landscape bound area since it is included in the 150 meters band from the Uzzone stream.
Also ascertained in an unauthorized atmosphere generated by sandblasting and outdoor spray painting of metal artifacts.
For these facts, the legal representative of the company was referred to in the state of freedom to the Public Prosecutor of Asti. Administrative penalties were also notified to him, to a reduced extent, for a total amount of € 8,266.
Also, for the presence in loco of out of use vehicles, further administrative violations occurred, for a total amount, to a reduced extent of € 5,000.
In relation to one of the abandoned vehicles, the relative owner was also reported to the competent prosecutor of the Republic of Turin for the simulation of a crime since, as subsequently emerged, he had falsely denounced his theft in order to escape the administrative sanction, as he then admitted in the face of the investigative evidence of the forest carabinieri.
The principals of the forest weapon remain available to citizens for reports on environmental critical issues and to provide any useful indication on the subjects of specific competence.
